Additional notes:
Some call them Doormats because when you come into the room they just barely look up and then go back to sleep. With proper research into the breeding, early training and socialization, it will make a good family dog.
There is a bizarre tradition in Spain called "Running of the Bullmastiffs" where thousands of them stampede through the streets of Pamplona and people flee for their lives hoping not to be overrun by the thundering herd.
