Additional notes:
Although highly respected, Dr. Michael Fox (not Michael J. Fox) did injustice to this wonderful breed by saying that they get lost at the end of their leash. People who own and love this breed will never fogive him. One of the better looking dogs that humans created is misunderstood and misused by families who purchase an Irish Setter in an attempt to make it into something it is not. These are wonderful but extremely sensitive dogs that require a lot of patience and understanding.
